The Role of Operations/Business manager, requires the ability to have broad vision of all the areas of the business and create solutions for existing problems while ensuring scalability of solutions implemented.
Main problem requiring solution:
Ecommerce, Accounting system and Stock management work independently and with manual data input. This leads to multi-phase processes which in turn, leads to costly human errors.
Solution:
Create a system whereby it creates a single platform with all the business elements connected. The solution had to cope with the growing business while requiring as little manual input as possible. This was achieved by implementing SAPb1 ERP system
two-way integrated with the E-commerce platform. With this system, the sales process and its related elements such as stock allocation, finances, Invoicing and accounting elements are all automated and fully integrated. This integration also caters for new customer account creation and management
Other responsibilities include:

In the summer of 2017 I Planned, coordinated and launched the Company’s first e-commerce platform with 1800 products. The aim was to test the market with a income target for yr1 of 200k. We achieved 1.8m.
As the business grew it was important to keep up with our competitors and market trend of running food business online.
This was done successfully, so much so that a year later we needed to move to a more resilient and integrate-able online platform - Magento 2.
