HR Associate
• Setting up Human Resources for the new Portugal entity from scratch through research, understanding business need from leadership, partnering with external brokers, and internally collaborating with other teams such as Finance and Legal. The legal entity is successfully opening in April 2023 with the appropriate policies and benefits already set in place.
• Managing two annual promotion cycles for 9 different teams. Establishing promotion criteria and requirements, making any changes according to business need, guiding candidates and managers through the process, handling all administrative work, and liaising with the Finance and Communications teams.
• Running career coaching sessions. Understanding the needs of the individual and delivering career advice, outlining and promoting internal career path opportunities, CV reviewing, interview tips and job search advice. This led employees recognise other paths they can take within the business instead of leaving, lowering attrition.
• Collaborating with the team in different HR Operational projects, such as collecting Right to Work documentation, Exit interviews, re-structuring the probation period process and its evaluation criteria.
• Member of the EURO Philanthropy group. Organising company-wide charity initiatives, activities and events.
